Merport Bistro is the perfect hideaway for a relaxing breakfast or lunch date in Freeport, Grand Bahama. We offer fresh food, a serene ambiance and outstanding service, and we aim to cater to your every need — from hosting special occasions and delivery services to our unique dine-in experience.
Our kitchen blends Bahamian favourites such as stew conch, stew fish, souse and Johnny cake with French-inspired classics like croque monsieur, escargots and French onion soup. Guests often mention our daily breakfast and lunch specials and the pastries made in-house.
We’re in the Merport Building at One Town Center, open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday
We open at 7:30 am. Breakfast runs until 10:30 am with pancakes, French toast, omelets served with Bistro potatoes, eggs Benedict and our Wake Up Bahamas plates — native stew conch, stew fish, chicken souse and tuna & grits with yellow grits or Johnny cake. From 11:00 am the lunch menu takes over until we close at 3:30 pm.
Lunch brings house-made soups, salads with your choice of added protein, wraps, Black Angus artisan burgers and entrées such as Creamy Tuscan Chicken, Shrimp Florentine, Teriyaki Salmon, Lobster Portofino and Delmonico steak. Our bar pours island cocktails, wine, beer, mimosas and fresh lemonades, and there is a coffee station for the morning rush.

Merport Bistro is at 3 Merport Building, One Town Center, Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
